"The decoration of this piece echoes the
colors and pattern of an ancient Incan tapestry.
Indigo-blue, turquoise, lemon-yellow and
emerald-green cubes blend melodiously under a
golden iridescent sheen. The surface bears the
rich texture and feel of fine linen, patinated
by the accretion of centuries. The weft of the
"textile" is shot through with threads of pure gold.

"A lovely vessel; pleasant to hold and to contemplate."

"The last rays of a saffron sun penetrate
inky-blue clouds of a lifting storm, as night
approaches. The vessel recalls Expressionist works
by Emil Nolde, or perhaps color-field paintings of the
1960's, packing a great deal of punch for its
diminutive size. A beautiful silken-matte iridescence
falls over the piece, with an interior of richest
metallic gold. The richness of the yellow passages
is only hinted at by the camera's limitations."

"A coral reef in dense volcanic glaze
embraces this spectacular vase. Bubbles
and encrustations of iridescent green, gold,
deep blues and purple recall a colony of
marine life in a shallow, tropical sea.
As complex and interesting a combination
of glazes as one could hope to find on an
individual vessel."

"A lovely vessel, the color of sparkling Merlot.
Golden arabesques and passages blend with
burgundy reds in an effervescent harmony.
The shoulder of the vase terminates in an
iridescent-silken matte of deepest-ultraviolet hue."

"A glaze of delicate green moss rises like
mist from a forest pond of iridescent amber.
An early winter frost solidifies the waters.
The architectonic shape of the vessel is a
pleasant counterbalance to the organic surface
and unexpected reflections."

"A scarlet sunrise in the Everglades.
Iridescent ruby emanates from a forest floor
of golden bronze, with the first intense
rays of morning. A fine and sophisticated
Persian vessel, blending the subtle with
the intense."

"Deep, mossy-mint green flows into a
silken surface of lapis blue. The
impression is of tree branches in
full sun and wind, reflecting back
a thick golden light."

"A wonderful, whimsical vase, with a
bemused constellation of turquoise and
magenta stars. The stars dance in an
iridescent satin of deep indigo, violet
and copper. A delight in all its dimensions."
